Ladybug Creations

Bit of a different post today, a jewellery review! I love getting new jewellery, so when the lovely Ria of Lb-Chronicles asked me if I'd like to review a piece from her new online shop Ladybug Creations, I jumped at the chance! I had a look through the collection and picked out the 'Cameos and Chandeliers' Necklace, a beautiful tiered creation with a victorian style centre pendant. I thought it would go nicely with a few of my vintage style outfits, and I was right!
I received my necklace a few days later, beautifully wrapped, and opened to find it was just as beautiful as the picture! I love the unusual way it hangs, and it really gives a statement look to any outfit - I've had lots of comments wearing it asking where I'd got it from ;)
You can wear it looser so that the necklace creates a 'V' down your neck and the pendant hangs down further, but I prefer to wear mine as a choker style necklace, tight against my neck, which gives a lovely collar effect. All in all it's a beautiful necklace, and would make a lovely gift too - why not check out Ria's shop if you're looking for the perfect christmas present still!

America Trip - Nevada and Arizona

The deserty parts of America are beautiful. Like crazy beautiful! We drove inland from Eureka, California and passed through Reno towards Las Vegas, passing in between Yosemite national park and Death Valley. This had some of the most amazing scenery I had ever seen. Whilst in Las Vegas it was our 5th anniversary, which was when Mike proposed! It was pretty perfect :) After Vegas we managed to make it to the Grand Canyon just after the government shutdown. Then it was on into the bottom end of California which I'll cover in the next post!

We travelled down from Washington into Oregon. Oregon is so beautiful - full of beaches and trees like Washington, but much less rain! We got a little bit into California too before heading inland to Reno and down to Las Vegas ;)
